Memorial Weekend

We were so lucky to get to spend Memorial weekend with all of our Frederickson cousins.  Jordan was in town to take his CPA exam and Bryan made the trek up too.  We had high hopes of spending the weekend skiing but, big surprise, it was rainy, cold, and windy in Spokane.  It turned out to be a weekend of service.  Friday night all the guys helped frame and drywall an extra bedroom in Kim’s house so Grandma Julia can stay there when Josh is in Korea and the new baby comes.

Saturday everyone came over hoping to get a ski in but instead ended up doing projects.  The guys helped shovel wood chips from some trees we got taken down.

And the girls helped me sand and paint the girls’ dresser for their new black/white/pink bedroom.

Sunday was spent at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.  We pulled the kids together to try to get a picture of all 11 of my mom’s grandkids.

Monday everyone had to head back.  Our family finally snuck in a ski (between wind storms) and we had some alone time before back to reality!
