We have three VERY large pine trees in our front yard. Although they match the environment we live in, they drive me nuts! We are constantly cleaning up after them. . .pine needles, pine cones, fallen branches. So this year we decided it was time to get rid of them. Over Memorial weekend George the lumberjack spent the better part of two days WAY up high chopping them down.

It feels a little bare, but we will plant something tallish and less messy in those places. For now, I am just thrilled to not have to rake pine needles!
